Purple Circle. Where you and your ideas matter.
Purple Circle is a woman-owned company founded in experience and inspired by the history of the plant.
Purple Circle’s mission is to help create a cannabis industry that represents the community from which it came. The circle is a place where anyone—everyone—is welcome and the industry should be the same. Purple Circle plans to help realize that goal by offering affordable and accessible compliance and business consulting services to people who plan to mean well and do good. We are a small team with a big heart and we are here to help! We definitely hit the ground running, meaning we’ve been busy with several projects since Fall of 2022, but we can’t wait for you to join the circle. Call or email us today!
Purple Circle LLC, founded in Colorado in October 2022, is led by CEO and Founder, Amber D. Lengacher. Graduate of UCF and UF Law, Ms. Lengacher left Florida and moved to Colorado to begin working in the cannabis industry in 2017. Beginning her cannabis career at Vicente Sederberg in Denver, Colorado, Ms. Lengacher learned from the best, the true pioneers in the cannabis space. From there, Ms. Lengacher transitioned to serve first as Licensing Manager—later as Corporate Counsel—for Trulieve Cannabis Corp. for over two years. Yes, she moved West to take a remote job back East, oh the irony!

After starting her career as a Policy Specialist turned Associate Attorney at the nation’s leading cannabis law firm, Vicente Sederberg, Ms. Lengacher went to work in-house for a multi-state cannabis operator, Trulieve Cannabis Corp. (“Trulieve”), first as their Licensing Manager and then as Corporate Counsel.

Also importantly, Ms. Lengacher has served as Pro Bono Regulatory Consultant for an Illinois Social Equity Adult-Use Cannabis Transporter since 2020 through licensing and operational approval. Finally, Ms. Lengacher obtained ISO 17025 certification from accreditation body, A2LA.
As to policy, Ms. Lengacher has attended legislative hearings, local rulemaking sessions and land use hearings, monitored cannabis legislation across the country, and successfully submitted proposed comments during regulatory policymaking in several jurisdictions, including but not limited to the U.S. DEA’s proposed rulemaking surrounding the process for the manufacture and research of cannabis at the federal level. Ms. Lengacher also supported a project aimed at policy development at the United Nations level during the conversations surrounding re-scheduling and de-scheduling cannabis in international treaties.
Ms. Lengacher has long been a staunch supporter of efforts to maintain a sustainable industry and support social justice initiatives. Mostly recently, since Spring 2022, Ms. Lengacher has been partnering with Last Prisoner Project, but she has a history of work with organizations like Dress for Success, MetroCaring, MassCultivatED, Protect Our Rivers, Women in Cannabis Expo, Food Bank of the Rockies, Sustainable Cannabis Coalition, and more. At Trulieve, Ms. Lengacher served on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and chaired the Environmental, Social, Governance Committee. Ms. Lengacher has long served as a mentor to law school students through the University of Denver’s School of Law Professional Mentoring Program and oversaw legal clerkship and internship programs at both of her former employers respectively, in which inclusivity was always a focus. Ms. Lengacher has always believed that everyone deserves support, especially when entering a new and challenging industry.

"Amber Lengacher of Purple Circle was a tremendous help to us as we worked on the arduous task to secure our cannabis license in the state of Mississippi. This was a new business for us (and for Mississippi) so we had lots of regulations to meet. Amber is very knowledgeable in the cannabis space and she guided us through the process and we even delegated some of the heavy lifting to her as our consultant. She was always on top of things and helped us stay on track to meet our projected deadline to obtain our cannabis cultivation license. Amber is very personable with a great attitude to go along with all the experience she brings to the table. Her services were reasonably priced and in my opinion some of the best money we spent on resources to get our license. Amber has many talents and I highly recommend her and her company for all your cannabis consulting needs regardless of which phase you are in and which state you need assistance. We were very fortunate to work with Amber, we got our MS license, and we will definitely use her again as our needs evolve!”
“It is my pleasure to work with Amber for the licensing process. She is obviously very well-versed in the business and went above and beyond to get everything finished in a very tight timeline. Her communication throughout the process and ability to connect me with other professionals in the industry and have a prompt return to meet deadlines was amazing! Thanks so much for everything Amber, I have so much peace knowing that I’ve given my business the best possible shot at obtaining a license, it’s a privilege to work with you!”
